I get many requests for pet pillow donations throughout the year and would love to say yes to everyone, but it's very costly both time wise and financially. So, after much consideration I will only be donating to groups once a year and to those who regularly refer people that turn into purchases. I will notify the top 6 groups each year who will be the recipient of a donated pillow (preferably to be picked up at GIG if you are outside of the Pittsburgh area). So, if you are part of a group that has referred people please remind them to mention your group name so I can keep track during the calendar year.
With that said, I will gladly donate one of the Reflections prints to any group that requests it...
This "Reflections" print was created from a photograph that I took of my first greyhound named Thayne (TL's Koolrunning) enjoying the waves at Dewey Beach in 2002. Ironically, the reflection in this picture was unknown until seen in the developed film. Thayne was an amazing ambassador for greyhound adoption and touched many people's hearts throughout his lifetime. The talented Brett Longley created a breathtaking oil painting of this photograph and donated prints so they could be used solely for fundraising to help in the effort of placing retired racers with their forever families.
I am now making this print available as a fundraiser for all groups. It measures 17 x 27. Anyone who purchases a print (valued at $40) can choose which non-profit, all volunteer 501(c)(3) group 100% of their proceeds will go to. It can be any type of non-profit group, animal or human oriented.
If you're interested in purchasing a print, please email me at [email protected]. Might be a great gift for a friend or a donation for your group to auction off!
